Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a forklift operator in Columbus, IN for 3rd shift. Responsibilities include safely operating a forklift, wrapping equipment when needed, organizing stock, and documenting materials received or shipped. Candidates must have a high school diploma/GED and 6+ months forklift experience.

Ability to obtain PCA forklift license, willingness to work overtime on short notice, and authorization to work in the U.S. are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of forklift experience.
• Willing to work overtime on short notice, including 3rd shift.
• Must obtain PCA-certified forklift license.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate wrapping equipment when necessary.
• Keep stock and materials in orderly fashion.
• Document materials unloaded and taken off trucks.
• Pull jobs for production, inbound forms, inventory tags and counts.
• Assist other shipping and receiving material handlers to balance workload and maintain warehouses.
• Follow safety rules and procedures and report missing or damaged parts.
