Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) in Northampton, MA is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator for 2nd or 3rd shift to support production in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will operate a forklift safely, move materials to production, maintain orderly stock, and follow all safety rules while reporting issues to your supervisor. A GED or high school diploma and 3 years of forklift experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years forklift experience in manufacturing or warehouse.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and capable of obtaining PCA license.
• Able to work overtime on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Keep stock and materials in orderly fashion.
• Deliver material to production equipment per schedules.
• Follow safety rules and report missing or damaged parts.
• Monitor incoming material for defects and adhere to company policies.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
