Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a forklift operator to safely operate a forklift, wrap equipment, and keep stock organized in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Columbus, Indiana. The role requires 6+ months of forklift experience, the ability to work overtime, and comply with safety rules.

Starting compensation is hourly with benefits including paid vacation, holidays, a 401(k) with company matching, and life/AD&D and disability coverages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months’ forklift experience.
• Ability to obtain PCA forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Wrap equipment when necessary.
• Keep stock and materials in orderly fashion.
• Document materials unloaded and taken off trucks.
• Pull jobs for production and track inbound/outbound materials.
• Assist other shipping/material handlers and balance workload.
• Follow safety rules and report any equipment defects.
• Other duties as assigned.
