Job summary

Randstad USA in Nashville seeks a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician for a fast-paced food production facility in South Nashville. You will maximize equipment uptime, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot high-speed processing and packaging lines.

The role requires 3+ years multi-craft maintenance, strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and drive system skills, plus strict adherence to GMP, HACCP, and OSHA. Shift is overnight with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years multi-craft industrial maintenance experience in food/packaging sectors.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting up to 480V, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, gearboxes and pumps.
• Familiar with OSHA, LOTO, GMP/SQF/HACCP food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs on high-speed processing and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley/Siemens), sensors, VFDs, motors, and relays.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure GMP-compliant operation.
• Enforce LOTO, OSHA standards and GMP practices to maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Interpret schematics and blueprints for component replacement and alignment.
