Job summary

Specialty Foods Group is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the Owensboro, KY facility on 3rd shift. The role focuses on supporting production by minimizing downtime and completing preventative and corrective maintenance on meat processing equipment.

The ideal candidate has an Industrial Maintenance background with experience reading schematics, and the ability to perform basic electrical tasks and adverse environment work.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate response to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on meat processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with facility equipment and tools.
• Perform basic electrical tasks such as replacing light bulbs, fuses, breakers.
