Job summary

JLL is seeking a facilities maintenance professional to keep building systems running smoothly through preventive maintenance, timely repairs, and optimization. You’ll work hands-on with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building automation controls to diagnose issues and ensure operational continuity.

You will respond to maintenance requests, perform inspections, coordinate with contractors, and maintain detailed records while adhering to safety protocols and codes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or related technical field.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and general mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with demonstrated capacity to diagnose complex system issues.
• Valid driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, climb ladders, work in confined spaces and various weather conditions, and participate in after-hours emergency response and on-call rotation schedule as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building automation controls according to scheduled maintenance plans while identifying opportunities to improve system efficiency.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using appropriate tools, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques, prioritizing issues based on safety and operational impact.
• Conduct routine inspections of building systems, safety equipment, and structural components to identify potential problems before they elevate into costly repairs or safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment records using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track trends and support data-driven decision making.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs, installations, and major maintenance projects, ensuring quality standards and cost-effectiveness.
