Job summary

Advocate Health in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a full-time Environmental Services worker for the 3rd shift (12:00 am - 8:30 am), with a 40-hour work week. Benefits eligibility applies and weekend/holiday rotation is required.

A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with one year of cleaning experience. You will perform comprehensive cleaning of patient areas, manage waste, operate cleaning equipment, and follow infection control guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas including dusting, sanitizing, washing, sweeping, floors, carpet, restrooms, and light fixtures.
• Removes waste and handles sharps containers, recycling, and hazardous waste as applicable.
• Keeps equipment clean and reports maintenance issues to staff.
• Maintains a safe working environment and adheres to infection control guidelines.
• Attends required in-service education and training to maintain knowledge.
• Meets time schedules and deadlines consistently.
