Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC, a leading wire and cable producer in North America, seeks an Electronic Technician for the 3rd shift (Sun–Thu 10:50 pm–7:00 am) in Villa Rica, GA. You will support manufacturing operations, perform preventive maintenance, and contribute to process improvements.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of electronic and control systems, with emphasis on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required. Technical degree preferred.
• Strong electronic background and ability to interpret schematics and OEM manuals.
• Must have computer skills including Excel, CMMS, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using systematic methodologies.
• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, and production machinery.
• Interpret PLC logic and repair control circuits to keep equipment within specifications.
• Maintain maintenance data and complete required documentation.
