Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC is seeking an Electronic Technician in Carrollton, Georgia to support manufacturing operations by ensuring reliable maintenance of electronic equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and repairs of various electrical systems while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This position requires comprehensive knowledge of electronic systems, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency with testing equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and a technical background are essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Technical degree preferred.
• Strong electronic background necessary.
• Must have computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions systematically.
• Routine maintenance, calibration, and alignment of equipment.
• Repair electronic and AC/DC motors & controls.
• Test electrical systems for proper operation.

Skills

Strong electronic background

Computer skills (Microsoft Office, CMMS, Excel)

Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics

Familiarity with test equipment (multimeters/oscilloscopes)

Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
