Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC in Villa Rica, GA is seeking an Electronic Technician for 3rd shift to maintain and troubleshoot production equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, and other process machinery to keep operations reliable and safe.

You will analyze faults, interpret schematics and OEM manuals, use PLC logic as needed, and document maintenance in CMMS. Strong electronics background and ability to work in a fast-paced plant are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical degree preferred.
• Strong electronics background and ability to read schematics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CMMS.
• Experience interpreting OEM manuals and technical drawings.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and pass tests.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using logical methods.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, and production equipment.
• Repair electronic and digital equipment and motor controls.
• Analyze fault conditions in relay logic and motor circuits.
• Access PLC logic programming to troubleshoot equipment.
• Replace failed parts and recalibrate to specification.
• Maintain maintenance data and records.
• Suggest process improvements based on equipment behavior.
