Job summary

Cabinetworks Group is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician 1 (1E) to troubleshoot and support medium to complex automation systems, PLC-controlled equipment, and machine controls. The role requires strong electrical, schematic interpretation, and PLC programming skills, with responsibilities across maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements in a wood products environment.

The position is full-time with shift 3 - 10 in the United States, and involves coordinating with contractors, OEMs,

Qualifications

5+ years industrial maintenance experience.
PLC troubleshooting experience.
Strong understanding of VFDs and industrial communications.
Ability to interpret advanced schematics and technical documentation

Responsibilities

Perform all Maintenance Technician 1M duties.
Interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls schematics regardless of machine origin.
Troubleshoot VFDs, servo systems, relay logic, safety circuits, sensors, and distributed I/O.
Diagnose analog and digital control systems.
Read and modify basic PLC ladder logic.
Develop basic PLC programs and machine improvements.
Support CNC routers, conveyors, finishing systems, and woodworking equipment.
Coordinate with contractors, OEMs, suppliers, and integrators
