Wabash National Corporation is seeking an Electrical Controls Tech for the Lafayette, IN area. This role involves repairing, installing, and inspecting electronic systems, with a focus on PLC programming, robotics, and vision systems to support production.

Qualificações

• 3 to 5 years of Electrical Maintenance experience preferred.
• Good Mechanical aptitude
• Basic component and assembly process knowledge
• 1 to 3 years Robotic experience preferred.
• Experience with Cognex, Banner, Allen Bradley and Keyence automation equipment preferred.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Basic reading / writing / verbal skills

Responsabilidades

• Read and modify detailed engineering drawings and prints to adjust, test and repair equipment.
• Enter data in SAP PM (Plant maintenance).
• Program and troubleshoot PLC, robotics and vision systems.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic systems and servo drives.
• Interface with suppliers for maintenance parts.
• Understand and apply engineering specifications, Change Orders, and SOPs.
• Support daily production requirements and engineering project activities.

Job Description

Position Description:

Repairs, installs, and inspects electronics or electronic systems as directed through verbal or written directions, diagrams, drawings, or specifications. Maintains and makes necessary operating adjustments to theproductionselectronic systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Physical Demands:

As anElectronics Controls Engineer Maintenance Technician, youareregularly required tostand, walk,lean, push,climb,sit, bend, kneel, stoop, handleandoperatetools or controlsfor the length of their entire shift. The employee needsfullrange of motion in their arms and hands in this position. AllElectronics Controls Engineer Maintenance Technicianmust be able to successfully communicate with fellow employees as well.SomeElectronics Controls Engineer Maintenance Technicianalso work in small spaces throughout their shiftandfrequentlylift and/orcarryobjects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus, along with good hand-eye coordination. Weekend work will berequiredfor some project work.
