Wabash Electronics Controls Engineer Maintenance Technician I is responsible for repairing, installing, and inspecting electrical systems in our production environment in Lafayette, IN. The role requires reading engineering drawings, testing equipment, and entering maintenance data into SAP PM.
You will program and troubleshoot PLC, robotics, and vision systems while supporting daily production needs. The position may require 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts with mandatory overtime and weekend work.
Repairs, installs, and inspects electronics or electronic systems as directed through verbal or written directions, diagrams, drawings, or specifications. Maintains and makes necessary operating adjustments to the productions electronic systems.
