Job summary

Meiji America is seeking a Mixer to combine dough ingredients from silos and bins into a dough mix following a set formula. The role delivers batches on time to the processing line and requires adherence to GMP and safety standards.

Responsibilities include handling dough, supporting changeovers, recording instructions, and helping train others. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed in a food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Some manufacturing experience in a food plant helpful.
• Must be trained in LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow the formula to mix dough and ensure line speeds meet specs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with GMP requirements.
• Assist with changeovers, machine setup and cleaning on mixers and lines.
• Submit required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Notify supervision of any equipment or safety issues.
• Assist training of new employees and support team needs.
