Job summary

HD Supply Canada, Inc in City of Industry, CA is seeking a Supervisor for the 3rd shift to oversee multiple distribution center departments, drive safety, productivity, and quality, and mentor warehouse associates.

You will monitor workloads, provide training and tools, address escalated issues, identify process improvements, ensure clean work areas, and complete productivity reports.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline, 5+ years in distribution
• Experience in lead or mentorship role
• Certification may be required; advanced degree may offset less experience

Responsibilities

• Monitors productivity of warehouse associates and balances workload to meet production and delivery goals
• Provides training, tools, and equipment for warehouse associates to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
• Acts as a point-of-contact for escalated issues and ensures smooth warehousing operations
• Identifies process improvements to enhance distribution center performance
• Ensures associates follow safety policies and procedures, and maintains clean work areas
• Completes paperwork and productivity reports
