Job summary

Aurora Organic Dairy is seeking a night-shift Quality Assurance Lab Technician at our Platteville, CO facility to perform in-process and finished product quality testing and maintain accurate records. You will support HACCP/SQF programs, communicate issues to QA management, and work with the lab team and production staff to uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires high school diploma and preferred bachelor’s in dairy-related field; experience in dairy lab testing and familiarity

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Manufacturing, Food Science, Microbiology or related field preferred.
• Experience in dairy laboratory testing procedures preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory testing methods.
• Detail oriented and team member.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report deviations from HACCP & SQF programs to QA management.
• Assist in in-bound and finished product milk processing; work with Laboratory and PIM systems; inventory control.
• Perform process control testing in a manufacturing environment.
• Maintain accurate and complete laboratory testing records.
• Maintain GMP, GLP, and safety procedures; communicate quality issues to QA management.
