Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Crane Maintenance Technician III to join our industrial maintenance team in Davenport, IA. This role offers a 3rd shift schedule with potential overtime and pays $27-$30 per hour, based on experience.

You will troubleshoot cranes and hoists, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure safe operations on site. Training is provided for required certifications and lift operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience troubleshooting cranes and hoists OR 1 year mechanical experience with tech school.
• Industrial maintenance or related facility maintenance discipline.
• Crane certification isn't required to start but you must be able to obtain it with company help.
• Ability to work in aerial lift or scissor lift up to 30 feet; training will be supplied.
• Valid driver’s license; US work authorization; travel locally up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders, troubleshoot, and provide preventive and corrective maintenance on hoists, cranes, and other mechanical equipment in an industrial setting.
• Safely performs duties following safety guidelines such as job hazard analyses and lockout/tagout procedures and wearing PPE as required.
• Identifies and corrects safety-related issues and conducts equipment evaluations to predict potential failures.
• Performs general maintenance of equipment.
• Works in environments 6 to 30 ft above ground and travels to local sites when required.
