Job summary

Elmet Technologies is a U.S.-based advanced manufacturer seeking a 3rd Shift Tool & Die Setup team member for our Coldwater extrusion operation. You will ensure tooling is safe, functional, and ready for production, performing inspections, repairs, and changeovers as needed.

You’ll apply CNC machining skills, manage tooling inventories, and support the Hot Process department when required. Growth and tuition assistance are available.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• CNC and machining skills.
• Able to work with production machinery and industrial tools.
• Understand tooling/setup accuracy.
• Willing to support multiple areas as needed.
• Experience with metalworking equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, repair, and maintain extrusion tooling.
• Keep tooling inventoried and ready for production.
• Maintain liner inventory and coordinate with vendors.
• Assist extrusion team with tooling and equipment changeovers.
• Perform maintenance on presses and related equipment.
• Use CNC and machining skills to support production needs.
• Complete production logs and documentation in Global Shop.
• Maintain 5S standards and keep areas safe and organized.
