Job summary

Milacron in Mount Orab, OH seeks a 3rd Shift CNC Milling Machine Operator to set up and operate CNC milling equipment for metal components used in plastics processing machinery. You will read blueprints, select tooling, adjust speeds/feeds, and monitor QC to meet safety and delivery requirements.

The role requires high school diploma or machining certificate, hands-on CNC experience, and the ability to work a 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) with training on 1st shift as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or a machining certificate program.
• Experience with CNC machining and reading blueprints preferred.
• Strong shop math and measurement skills needed.
• Ability to work 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) and train on 1st shift if required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to blueprints, work orders, and specs.
• Install and adjust tooling, offsets, speeds, and feeds to meet quality targets.
• Monitor operations and adjust for dimensional accuracy and product quality.
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and process issues during production.
• Inspect finished parts with precision measuring instruments to specs.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic preventative maintenance.
