Zusammenfassung

Kennametal Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform predictive/preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment in Bedford, PA.

The role requires strong electrical/controls knowledge, CNC maintenance experience, and the ability to work with external contractors on installations and upgrades. The successful candidate will troubleshoot equipment, document procedures, and help improve uptime while supporting engineers in parts identification and repairs.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Controls preferred.
• 5-10 years' experience as CNC Maintenance Technician preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, pipefitting, pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, seals and electric motors/controls.
• SAP-PM and Step7 knowledge preferred.
• Rigging equipment and components knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (mechanical, electrical).
• Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to improve availability and yield.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems; prepare technical reports.
• Assist in new/ relocated equipment installations by sizing, wiring, piping, ventilation according to requirements.
• Receive, rig, unload, transport, install, assemble, troubleshoot and fine-tune new equipment.
• Interface with outside contractors, OEMs, and Technology Process Support groups for installations and repairs.
