Kennametal Inc. in the United States seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician to service CNC equipment, manual lathes and grinders, plus plant support systems.

You will read schematics and motor controls, diagnose issues and perform preventive maintenance. This role requires a maintenance-related certificate or willingness to attend an approved program, at least five years of machine shop experience, and the ability to repair safely to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Must have a maintenance-related certificate of education and/or willingness to attend a maintenance education program approved by supervisor.
• Must have 5 years minimum maintenance experience in a machine shop environment.
• Must be able to perform machine repair in a safe and timely manner to reduce machine downtime.

Responsabilités

• Prepare work area by identifying and addressing any safety issues before proceeding.
• Diagnose and repair production equipment.
• Clean-up area after performing a maintenance function.
• Diagnose and repair plant support equipment (compressors etc.).
• PM equipment.
