Job summary

CentroMotion is seeking a maintenance technician for the 3rd shift to install, maintain, and repair machinery and electrical systems in an industrial setting. You will follow the preventative maintenance schedule and communicate issues to leadership and vendors.

The role requires reading electrical/mechanical drawings, safety focus, and involvement in Lean COS initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste. Training and growth opportunities are offered in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school and minimum of 2 years related experience and/or applicable training.
• Experience in preventative maintenance and repair of CNC, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, electrical systems and piping in industrial environments.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions; diagnose problems and dismantle/reassemble equipment as needed.
• Inspect and test machinery; lubricate moving parts and replace worn components.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing concepts and participate in COS initiatives to reduce waste.
