Horton, Inc. seeks a CNC Machinist for our Westminster, SC location on the 3rd shift (Sun-Wed, 9:30 PM–7:30 AM). The role involves setting up fixtures, debugging programs, and ensuring parts meet exact tolerances. Pay starts at $27.00/hour with a $2.00/hour shift premium; overtime available.

The ideal candidate will have a CNC background, be able to read blueprints, and operate Heidenhain controls. We offer a strong benefits package and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree/diploma in CNC machining is required.
• If no degree, 5 yrs of applicable CNC production operation experience.
• Basic/intermediate blueprint reading.
• Basic/intermediate business systems.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; no Visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Change fixtures, settings, programs, and tooling to achieve proper dimensions.
• Operate machining centers to produce high-quality parts efficiently.
• Inspect work and adjust parameters to meet tolerances.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and 6S standards.
• Perform daily/weekly machine maintenance and basic tool room tasks.
• Assist engineering with development of complex setups and debugging.
