Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our 2nd or 3rd shift. You will set up, program, and operate multi-axis CNC machines to produce precision components per detailed drawings.

Expect rigorous quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and CMMs to verify tolerances and performance. We offer competitive pay starting at $33.39/hour with a 10% shift differential, a comprehensive benefits package, and relocation support for eligible offers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of CNC operation and setup experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T to specifications.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments.
• Able to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate parts per drawings.
• Read blueprints and GD&T to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Perform in-process inspections with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Adjust offsets, change tools, and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Monitor for abnormal conditions and take corrective actions.
• Process raw materials and finished parts with proper handling.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and document production.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel.
• Participate in continuous improvement and training.
