Job summary

Orchid Orthopedic Solutions is seeking a CNC Machinist I in Santa Ana, CA to operate CNC 2 and 3 axis machines, perform basic set ups, and run multiple machines with supervision. Experience in CNC machining in a manufacturing environment is required.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, GD&T, blueprint reading, and adherence to QMS. A background in medical device manufacturing is preferred, with a focus on quality and safety in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• High School Or Equivalent (Preferred)
• Lean Manufacturing Experience (Preferred)
• Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing (Preferred)
• 1+ Years of Experience Operating Machining Equipment in a Manufacturing Environment (Preferred)
• Machining Trade School (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Performs basic machining functions to produce parts.
• Operates multiple machines simultaneously.
• Monitors the machine to ensure proper program performance.
• Completes shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets.
• Makes off sets and adjustments to machines with moderate supervision.
• Advocates for the health and safety of self, co-workers, customers, and the community.
• Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Completes all required training.
