Orchid Orthopedic Solutions in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a CNC Machinist I for 3rd shift to operate and set up CNC 2- and 3-axis machines. You will run multiple machines, monitor performance, and complete documentation and daily maintenance tasks.

Preferred candidates have Lean manufacturing and medical device experience, plus 1+ year of machining experience. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and QMS are required.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required; machining trade school preferred.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating machining equipment preferred.
• GD&T and blueprint reading experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and perform basic set ups for 2- and 3-axis equipment.
• Run multiple machines simultaneously and monitor program performance.
• Complete shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets.
• Make offsets and adjustments with moderate supervision.
• Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and forms.

For more information, please click here.**SHIFT**SNA - Shift 3 (15%) (United States of America - California)**A BRIEF OVERVIEW** The CNC Machinist I position contributes to the production of medical devices by operating and performing basic set ups of CNC 2 and 3 Axis machines, with the ability to identify X, Y, Z and 0 coordinates. He/she is responsible for running multiple and varying CNC machines simultaneously, such as Lathes, EDM Wire, and Plunge machines in addition to operating manual machine tools to cut, drill, shape, and finish quality products with some supervision.
