Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist II for the 3rd shift to produce precision parts. You will operate and set up CNC machines, read engineering drawings, and maintain quality and safety standards while documenting production activity.

This role supports continuous improvement and teamwork. Candidates should have 3+ years of CNC experience, a GED or equivalent, and the ability to work on multiple machines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines within tolerances per work instructions.
• Perform difficult CNC work including progressive machining and very close tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and adjust for wear.
• Ensure product quality using OOQ standards and measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance per PM schedule and document GMP/GDP practices.
• Record activities on the job tracking system.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping and safety practices.
• Identify and support continuous improvement activities.
