Job summary

Navion Senior Solutions in Rocky Mount seeks Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for compassionate daily resident care in our care homes. The role focuses on activities of daily living, safety and supportive interactions with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification required.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills expected.
• Ability to work independently with team support.
• Excellent bedside manner and communication with health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates positive relationships with residents, family and staff.
• Maintains HIPAA confidentiality.
• Assist with daily living activities including turning and ambulating patients and serving meals.
• Help with personal hygiene and baths.
• Provide adjunct patient care as needed (ice packs, dressings, etc.).
• Monitor and record food intake and output for medical staff.
• Coordinate information with physicians, caregivers and nurses.
• Follow infection control precautions and safety procedures.
• Report safety violations as required.
