Job summary

Parker Hannifin seeks a Chemical Product Operator in Indianapolis to support safe, high-quality production in a team-based environment. No prior chemical manufacturing experience is required as training is provided.

This role involves mixing, blending, packaging, cleaning, material handling, and documentation, with a 3rd shift schedule (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) and a $1.75/hour shift premium. Training and a clear path for wage progression after probation are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong safety and quality mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, inclusive environment.
• Willingness and ability to learn chemical production processes and follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to safely drive a forklift after training and certification.
• Ability to wear PPE including a respirator.
• Ability to climb stairs and perform physical work in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and understand English written instructions, procedures, safety information, and regulations.
• Ability to work the assigned 3rd shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
• Work from batch cards, manufacturing instructions, procedures, and written work instructions.
• Operate mixing, blending, and related production equipment.
• Use material-handling equipment, including forklift or tow motor, as required.
• Accurately weigh materials, add ingredients, and record production information.
• Complete production paperwork and documentation clearly and accurately.
• Clean equipment, containers, work areas, and tools.
• Package finished products in accordance with quality and customer requirements.
• Support continuous-improvement efforts to improve safety, quality, productivity, and workflow.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, quality, maintenance, and other functions.
