Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a qualified candidate to join its Indiana facility. The role involves operating mobile, mechanical equipment per OSHA standards and maintaining safety and accuracy on inventory and paperwork.

Responsibilities include driving a stand-up Raymond, tugger, order picker and forklift; loading/unloading trucks; scheduling trucks and processing dock receipts; and maintaining the Kanban board with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Able to operate mobile, mechanical equipment in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Complete certification and be issued a forklift and equipment license.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and read digital scales.
• Load and unload trucks by forklift or hand loader and keep required documentation.
• Drive a stand-up Raymond, tugger, order picker and operate a forklift truck, which may work at different heights.
• Occasionally schedule trucks and process dock receipts
• Maintain Kanban board within the department
• Responsible for completing inventory transactions and maintaining accurate inventories
• Notify management of unsafe conditions or practices, unlawful activities and activities which present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk
• Work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures, and in a manner, that eliminates unreasonable risk to health and the environment
