Job summary

Westminster Retirement Community in Austin, TX is seeking a licensed CNA for the 3rd shift (9:45 PM–6:15 AM). You will assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, and mobility, while maintaining dignity and comfort.

Responsibilities include recording ADLs and vital signs, receiving/reporting shift updates, transferring residents, responding to call lights, and keeping rooms clean. Texas CNA certification required; rehab/skilled nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Texas CNA certification is required.

• Excellent hospitality and caring demeanor with seniors.

We are seeking candidates who are customer service oriented and take great pride in serving others in a caring and professional manner. Must have a current Texas CNA certification, excellent hospitality skills, and enjoy working with seniors.

This role is for a 3rd shift (9:45 PM-6:15AM) licensed CNA.

CNA Responsibilities And Duties

• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
• Receives/gives report on residents assigned during shift.
• Records ADL's, nutrition intake, vital signs, etc. as directed.
• Transfers, transports and escorts residents as needed with the use of safety/protective devices.
• Answers call lights promptly and courteously.
• Changes bed linens, makes beds, and keeps rooms clean and orderly.
• Follows all safety, security, infection control and hazardous materials policies and procedures.

Qualifications And Skills

• Previous experience working in rehab/skilled nursing is preferred
• Must be a Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Texas.
• Excellent hospitality skills, and enjoy working with seniors.
