Job summary

Westminster, a premier retirement community in Texas, is seeking a licensed CNA for the 3rd shift (9:45 PM-6:15 AM). You will assist residents with daily activities, document vital signs and nutrition, and ensure safety and comfort for seniors.

Candidates must hold a Texas CNA certification, have hospitality-oriented service, and enjoy caring for seniors. Rehab/skilled nursing experience is preferred; daily pay is available as a benefit.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Texas CNA certification.
• Previous experience in rehab/skilled nursing is preferred.
• Excellent hospitality skills and enjoy working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
• Receives/gives report on residents assigned during shift.
• Records ADL's, nutrition intake, vital signs, etc. as directed.
• Transfers, transports and escorts residents as needed with the use of safety/protective devices.
• Answers call lights promptly and courteously.
• Changes bed linens, makes beds, and keeps rooms clean and orderly.
• Follows all safety, security, infection control and hazardous materials policies and procedures.
