Job summary

Westminster Retirement Community in Austin is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Aide for 1st shift (5:45 AM-2:15 PM) Monday-Friday. You will assist residents with ADLs, monitor health, and report changes to the care team to ensure quality elder care.

Must hold a Texas CNA certification, with rehab/skilled nursing experience preferred. Excellent hospitality and a genuine desire to serve seniors are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Texas CNA certification.
• Excellent hospitality skills and enjoy working with seniors.
• Experience in rehab/skilled nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Receives/gives report on residents during shift.
• Records ADL's, nutrition intake, vital signs as directed.
• Transfers, transports and escorts residents using safety devices.
• Answers call lights promptly and courteously.
• Changes bed linens, makes beds, keeps rooms clean and orderly.
• Follows safety, infection control and hazardous materials policies.

CNA Responsibilities And Duties

Qualifications And Skills

• Previous experience working in rehab/skilled nursing is preferred
• Must be a Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Texas.
• Excellent hospitality skills, and enjoy working with seniors.
