Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC is seeking a Grinding, Setup and Operate associate for the 3rd shift in Chicopee, MA.

You will run centerless grinders, plan duties, and perform rough and form grinding on varied parts to meet quality and production targets. Responsibilities include setting up machines, selecting wheels, adjusting speeds, dressing wheels, maintaining tight tolerances, recording production data, and performing routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 0-3 years experience running multiple machines and performing preventative maintenance.
• Safety first mindset; strong focus on quality.
• Ability to work well in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate centerless grinders per schedules, prints, and supervisor instructions.
• Perform precise set-ups and wheel mounting, adjust speeds/feeds.
• Dress and true grinding wheels; maintain close tolerances and quality checks.
• Load parts via automatic feeds, troubleshoot and adjust as needed.
• Maintain equipment, tooling, and cleanliness; document production data and Kan-Ban system.
• Communicate issues to supervisor and ensure smooth shift transitions.
