Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC in Chicopee, MA is seeking a Grinding, Setup and Operate specialist to run centerless grinders, plan duties, and meet quality and production targets. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety and process standards.

Responsibilities include following schedules, selecting wheels, setting speeds, dressing wheels, maintaining tolerances, performing quality checks, and keeping records. A high school diploma and 0–3 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0–3 years experience running multiple machines and performing preventative maintenance is a plus.
• Safety First mindset and strong focus on quality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Work from schedules, prints, specifications and general instructions from supervisor.
• Set-ups exacting but maintainable; determine operating sequence and mount wheels.
• Set speeds and feeds; dress and true wheels; maintain tolerances; perform quality checks.
• Record production data and maintain maintenance and inspection records.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to safety regulations.
