Job summary

Catawba Two Kings Casino in Kings Mountain, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will ensure casino facilities, equipment, and systems operate safely and efficiently, supporting gaming floor, restaurants, hotel areas, and back-of-house operations through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least 3 years of maintenance experience in hospitality or casino settings, knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a commercial, hospitality, or casino environment.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems, and carpentry required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Catawba Gaming License as required by tribal and state authorities.
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on casino facilities, including gaming areas, restaurants, hotel rooms, and common spaces.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to minimize downtime.
• Respond promptly to maintenance and repair of specialized casino equipment (lighting, security systems, surveillance equipment, signage, etc.).
• Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and in compliance with OSHA and gaming requirements.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in compliance with company policies.
• Support special projects such as remodels, upgrades, or installations within the property.
• Work collaboratively with other departments and outside vendors to ensure timely and effective resolution of maintenance issues.
• Perform daily facilities tasks, such as landscaping, carpentry, handy-man, and sanitation.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned
