Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (transfer, bathing, dressing, toileting, walking).
• Help maintain a clean environment and light housekeeping as needed.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Monitor residents and report changes to supervisor.
• Assist with meals and feeding; respond to call lights promptly.
• Document medications accurately and support other team members.

As a Caregiver you will be in charge of

• Providing assistance to residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the environment which may involve light housekeeping duties
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
• Monitoring for changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisor
• Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning
• Adhering to procedures regarding documenting of medications accurately
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safety
• Assisting other team members with their duties as necessary
• Responding to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
