Job summary

Cranberry Park Senior Living Facility in West Bloomfield is hiring a Caregiver to provide compassionate care and support to residents. The role includes assisting with daily activities and ensuring safety, with competitive pay and benefits.

You will participate in orientation and training, with room for growth and paid time off starting day one. Experience with medication administration is preferred, and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in medication administration and working with seniors.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and availability to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance to residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the environment which may involve light housekeeping duties.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Monitoring for changes in residents' conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisor.
• Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning.
• Adhering to procedures regarding documenting of medications accurately.
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safety.
• Assisting other team members with their duties as necessary.
• Responding to call lights and assess residents' needs promptly.
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
