Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living is seeking a Care/Medication Technician for The Haven and The Laurels in the Village at Carolina Place in Pineville, NC. You will provide hands-on care, support residents’ daily living activities, assist with medications, and maintain a safe, home-like environment for a designated group of residents.

The role involves documenting care, observing health changes, and collaborating with nurses and coordinators to ensure quality resident care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Experience with seniors preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift; check on them throughout the shift.
• Observe, report and document symptoms and conditions; monitor changes in skin, weight, appetite and activity.
• Respond promptly to resident call bells and security system alerts.
• Assist with continence management and maintain sanitation in resident suites and common areas.
• Support residents in daily activities (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transfers, eating).
• Help with resident meals, laundry, and overall cleanliness of rooms and work areas.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and medication-related records.
• Document and communicate with nurses or Health Care Coordinators about resident needs.
