Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living, LLC is seeking a Care/Medication Technician for HeartFields at Cary. The 2nd shift runs 3PM–11PM, with a schedule of 2-3 weekdays and every other weekend. The role delivers hands-on care, including medication observation and daily living activities within a safe, home-like environment.

The position emphasizes resident dignity, safety, and confidentiality while supporting nursing staff. Prior CNA experience and eldercare familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age minimum.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Experience with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and emotional support.
• Observe and document residents' symptoms and conditions.
• Respond to call bells promptly and communicate needs to supervisor.
• Assist with continence management and meals.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, ambulation).
• Engage residents in life enrichment activities.
• Follow safety and health precautions and confidentiality.

Education

High School diploma/GED

Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred

CPR Certification preferred

First Aid Certification preferred

Previous experience working with seniors preferred
