Job summary

Key Fasteners Corporation in Berne, IN is seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician to install, repair and maintain machinery as part of our automotive-focused manufacturing facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues on mechanical equipment, dismantle and replace defective parts, and recommend improvements to boost efficiency and yield.

• Three years of maintenance experience in both electrical and mechanical areas.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving on the shop floor.
• Proactive, team-oriented, with strong time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
• Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
• Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve efficiency, capability and yield.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to show on the floor trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.

• May need to train on a different shift
