Job summary

Western Container Corp. is seeking a Blow Mold Production Technician for a 3rd shift role in Hattiesburg, MS. The position runs 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM, Monday through Friday with some weekends and occasional holidays.

You will monitor automated equipment, maintain materials, inspect parts, operate a forklift, and focus on quality and safety. Responsibilities include operating machinery per specs, pre-use inspections, quality checks, data entry for SPC, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; 3 years related experience may substitute.
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery according to specifications.
• Inspect equipment prior to use and perform routine adjustments/maintenance.
• Understand processing aspects of equipment; perform quality checks and report defects.
• Perform bottle testing procedures and enter data into SPC collection center.
• Make processing adjustments to the machine as needed.
• Maintain logs and records of units produced and errors.
• Keep a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
