Western Container Corp. is seeking a Blow Mold Production Technician for a 3rd shift role in Hattiesburg, MS. The position runs 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM, Monday through Friday with some weekends and occasional holidays.

You will monitor automated equipment, maintain materials, inspect parts, operate a forklift, and focus on quality and safety. Responsibilities include operating machinery per specs, pre-use inspections, quality checks, data entry for SPC, and maintaining logs.

Qualifikationen

• HS Diploma or GED required; 3 years related experience may substitute.
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.

Description

This is a 3rd Shift position 11:30 PM - 8 AM Monday - Friday, some weekends and occasional holidays

The Blow Mold Production Technician monitors automated production equipment, maintains supply of production materials, inspects parts, operates forklift, and various other tasks, all with a major emphasis on quality and safety.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operates production machinery in accordance with specifications
• Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance
• Understands the processing aspects of equipment, performs quality checks, and reports any defects to shift Leadership and QA
• Performs bottle testing procedures and enters data into SPC collection center
• Makes processing adjustments to the machine as needed
• Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Prolonged periods working on feet
