Job summary

Mcarthur Next in Miami, FL is seeking a Blow Mold Operator to run plastic blow molding machines, ensuring safe, efficient production and high-quality containers. You will monitor weights, adjust processes, and document outcomes per SOPs.

Responsibilities include equipment troubleshooting, training peers, data analysis for quality improvements, and adherence to GMPs in a wet, fast-paced plant environment. Overtime and night shifts are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in strong industrial machine operations.
• High School diploma or Equivalent.
• Knowledge of blow mold/plastic extrusion machinery.
• Effective verbal and written communication; legible paperwork.
• Basic Math skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Follow and comply with safety standards.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate plastic blow molding machines following all safety protocol.
• Monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles.
• Operate bagger and debagger stations.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on blow mold equipment.
• Monitor empty bottle weights and adjust accordingly.
• Train others on blow mold operation.
• Maintain clear and accurate paperwork per SOPs.
• Analyze process data to improve quality and throughput.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and maintain a clean, safe area.
