Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a fully competent Industrial Maintenance Technician at our Blue Mountain, MS facility. The role involves repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and plant blow mold equipment, all while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices.

You will install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizers, and related equipment, perform mold changes, inspect components, and conduct preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills.

• Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Repair, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and plant blow mold equipment.
• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Perform mold changes, pin and other equipment changes.
• Inspect and replace hoses, valves, and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance on related equipment.
• Weld, fabricate, and repair machines.
• Troubleshoot and locate root problems on blow mold and related equipment.
• May operate blow mold or injection machines.
• Communicate with other departments as needed.
