Job summary

The Jel Sert Company is seeking a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor for the Blending Department to lead a team toward safe, high-quality, and efficient production. Responsibilities include daily scheduling, lot control, inventory accuracy, reporting, sanitation, and SOP adherence, with emphasis on process improvements and weighout systems.

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in CPG or related industries, with a college degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in CPG, food/beverage, pharmaceutical, and/or packaging.
• College degree preferred.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate employees.

Responsibilities

• Schedule daily production, manage lot control, and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity; oversee HACCP and CCP verifications.
• Oversee SOP adherence and continuous improvement methods (5S, standardized work, weighout systems).
• Lead sanitation, housekeeping, and department liaison duties.
• Monitor and report production performance and cost efficiency.
