Job summary

McGard LLC in Orchard Park, NY, is seeking a Tumbler Operator for the 3rd shift (10:00PM-6:30AM, Sunday–Thursday). The position offers an hourly rate of $18.50-$25.00 plus a 20% shift differential and potential overtime.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating vibratory and glass bead blasting equipment, maintaining machines, and ensuring quality. A High School Diploma or GED, good English communication, and strong mechanical aptitude are preferred; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively in English both written and orally.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates all vibratory and glass bead blasting equipment.
• Verify that lot cards have all previous operations signed off.
• Select proper grade of media and compounds and installs in predetermined amounts, with proper parts.
• Operate machines to their predetermined time.
• Operate and maintain various dry blasting equipment.
• Operate the LPL Robot, including rack maintenance.
• Responsible for supplies/inventory requisitions.
• Ensure parts produced are regularly inspected for quality.
• Follow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and training requirements.
• Cleans machines daily and keeps work area orderly.
• Performs preventative maintenance as required.
• Performs any other duties as directed by Supervisor or Management personnel.
