Job summary

McGard LLC in Orchard Park, NY, is seeking a Tumbler Operator for the 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM, Sunday–Thursday). The role involves setting up vibratory and glass bead blasting equipment, maintaining quality control, and supporting inventory needs in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, and forklift experience. Overtime may be required; the position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively in English both written and orally.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates all vibratory and glass bead blasting equipment.
• Verify that lot cards have all previous operations signed off.
• Select proper grade of media and compounds and installs in predetermined amounts, with proper parts.
• Operate machines to their predetermined time.
• Operate and maintain various dry blasting equipment.
• Operate the LPL Robot, including rack maintenance.
• Responsible for supplies/inventory requisitions.
• Ensure parts produced are regularly inspected for quality.
