Job summary

RRD is seeking a skilled Bindery Technician for the 3rd shift in Wisconsin, offering a pay range of 21.00/hr to 26.26/hr plus a 2.00/hr shift differential. You will set up and operate a variety of binding and finishing equipment, inspect for safety, and guide a production crew to deliver finished books, catalogs, and printed materials.

The role requires strong reading of work orders, precise machine adjustment, and maintaining quality across multiple stations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret work orders and specify machine operations.
• Ability to calculate distances and fits for equipment.
• Skill in adjusting bindery machines to maintain accuracy.
• Knowledge of various bindery machines and finishing operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate bindery machines and attachments to produce final books, catalogs, or magazines.
• Inspect equipment for safety issues and ensure proper operation.
• Direct crew through all aspects of production and coordinate multiple stations.
• Monitor quality, output and productivity to meet specifications.
• Make adjustments to optimize finishing processes and stock handling.
