Job summary

Proper Beverage Company in Hudsonville, MI is seeking a Filler Operator to run filling equipment on the 3rd shift (11pm–7:30am). You will set up, operate, and monitor the filling line to meet production targets while upholding quality.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior experience with filling equipment. You will perform setup, quality checks, basic maintenance, sanitation, and coordinate with supervisors and technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a Filler Operator or in a related role.
• Understanding of filling equipment operation and adjustments.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment issues.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate filling machinery and related equipment during your assigned shift.
• Set up and adjust filling parameters according to production specifications.
• Monitor the filling process to ensure accurate volumes and proper sealing of cans.
• Conduct quality checks and take corrective actions as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on filling equipment.
• Report any equipment issues to the maintenance team for timely resolution.
• Follow cleaning and sanitation protocols for filling equipment.
• Ensure cleanliness of the filling area to meet hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth production flow.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, technicians, and other operators.
• All other duties as assigned.
